Howard Newport - President, Co-Owner
Howard was born and raised in Indiana along with three sisters and one brother.  He is married to Leslee Newport. They have been married for over 20 years. They have three wonderful children. When he is not working, which is not very often, he enjoys spending time on the lake with his family, motorcycle riding and other outdoor activities. Howard started his career in HVAC by attending a vocational college after high school. His first HVAC job was as an installation apprentice. He installed furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, etc.

After 5 years in the business he moved out of installation and into a new position as a field supervisor. His role was designing and overseeing HVAC projects of all types and sizes. About thirteen years later in 1998, he decided it was time to make the big jump into entrepreneurship and partnered with Gary Holt to form Precision Comfort Systems, Inc. “Today, Precision Comfort Systems, Inc is a thriving and successful business and I am very proud to be a part of it.”

Gary Holt – Treasurer, Co-Owner
Gary Holt began his HVAC career as a commercial service helper after high school in 1978.  His fascination with the HVAC industry inspired him to attend a vocational school in Indianapolis.  Gary attended classes in the evenings after work.  His hands on experience combined with education helped to accelerate his career in the industry.  He became a service technician for a local heating company for two years.  In 1981 he went to work as a solar geothermal installation contractor.  Earth coupled geothermal was a relatively new technology which inspired his involvement as the industry advanced and created more consumer interest.  In 1984 he went to work for a large HVAC contractor and elevated his skills selling, promoting and installing geothermal systems in homes throughout the Midwest.

In 1990 he went to work with an electric utility supporting marketing efforts to promote geothermal technology to contractors.  In 1993 he worked for WaterFurnace International promoting and educating contractors on geothermal technology.  He became certified by ACCA to teach heat loss and duct design calculations for WaterFurnace International’s dealers.  Gary is NATE and RSES certified.  He has acquired his personal HVAC license in addition to the corporate license.

He started his first HVAC business in Fishers, operating as Holt Heating until partnering with Howard Newport in 1998 to start Precision Comfort Systems, Inc.  The business began in Noblesville and relocated to its current location in Westfield. Gary is from Noblesville, Indiana. He has been married for 24 years to his wife, Charlotte and together they have a son, Ryan and a daughter, Jamie.
